The appellation

Where

Situated 20 kilometres north-east of Montpellier, Saint-Drézéry is linked to the city by the LIEN (intercommunal liaison road avoiding north Montpellier) which makes access easier. On the hillsides, which separate the sea from the city, the vineyards grow at altitudes varying from 50 to 150 metres.

On land full of natural quality

The rounded pebbles, which are a major feature of the Saint-Drézéry hilly vineyards, mean the grapes reach optimal maturity, producing wines that are at the same time powerful and refined. The maritime winds mean that rainfall is considerably lower than the average in other AOC Languedoc sectors and the night time climate is relatively cool. This temperature means the grapes mature well, with good colour and delicate, expressive, aromas.
